Before committing to a purchase, give yourself this self-test to determine whether your purchase would be a wise decision.

1. Do I really need this?
2. Is the price reasonable?
3. Is this the best time of year to buy?
4. If this is a bargain, is it a current or suitable model?
5. If it's on sale, is the price a true sale?
6. Am I sure no less-expensive item can be substituted?
7. Am I sure there are no major disadvantages?
8. If excessive in price, will it truly satisfy an inner need?
9. Have I comparison-shopped for price and quality?
10. Have I allowed for this item in my spending plan?
11. Do I know the seller's reputation?
12. Does the seller offer any special services with this item?

Scoring: 9-11 yes answers: Consider buying the item. 6-8 yes answers: Think again. Fewer than 6: Forget it!

Mini is Back!

This is Mini when we first brought her home. Isn't she adorable? LOL!
Well, I'm really glad that she's back. The manufacturer replaced some parts and now she's working like new again. I couldn't ask for more! ;) Oh, except for a new mouse though because my lil boy broke it. He turned it to a teether/toy truck. Tsk! It will cost me another $20 to buy a new one so I'll guess I'll just wait for my Santa. I don't have much money to spare these days because I'm saving for our trip this month.

Hello y'all! How's everyone doing? I hope you are all okay! As for me here, well, I'm busy as a bee! I have been running errands here and there. It's never ending! That's why I apologize (again!) to all those who joined my contest for not returning the favor yet. Because of time constraints, I only managed to add 3 new blogs on my list. But don't ya worry. I will work on it as soon as my Mini is here. She's already fixed and good as new! So from Marice down to Czaroma, don't worry because I WILL ADD YOU as soon as I get a chance. Okay? ;)

New Toy to Tinker!

Window Shopping

Last Tuesday, my friend and I went to RCW to pick up the printer she ordered online. But before we headed home, we dropped by in their flooring and tiles department to check on what's on sale because my friend is planning to upgrade their home. First thing on her list is to get rid of that ugly carpet in their living room. She's sick and tired of them. LOL! She also wants to replace the tiles on their bathroom with bigger ones and with texture to add a more fancy look.

Mini's Diagnosis

The Geek Squad already called and they told me that it is the motherboard that's causing the problem and not the computer memory. Now it's up to the manufacturer to decide whether to replace the broken part or just discard it and give me a brand new HP Mini since it is still under warranty when it broke down. Well, whatever the decision is, I'm all up for it. All I care is that they return it to me before we fly to the Philippines for a month-long vacation.
